For Day 21 we are talking Autumn beverages! That could be Autumn themed drinks or just ones you love having during this lovely season. Hot, cold, alcoholic, non-alcoholic. Whatever you love matters! So I’m going to be sharing some of my favourite beverages I like to drink throughout Autumn.
Brothers flavoured cider
I haven’t really tried Brothers cider before but spotted these whilst out shopping and thought I’d give them a try! Although not exclusively Autumn themed flavours I was so intrigued by the unique flavours that I wanted to try them so I did!
As you can see there is the ‘Parma violet’, ‘Toasted marshmallow’, ‘Toffee apple’ and ‘Rhubarb & Custard’. I’d have to say my favourite has to be the ‘Toffee apple’ flavour. It’s got just the right balance of sweetness! I do like all of the flavours and would highly recommend trying them if you’re a fan of something a little different, providing you’re of legal age! (Stay safe, think and drink responsibly).
Beanies flavoured coffee
I could go on and on about Beanies but to keep it short and sweet, they are one of my favourite companies! I order them each year during Autumn and Winter to stock up on some lovely seasonal themed coffee to spruce up our daily latte’s. I love to see what new flavours they do and how they change things each year as they are such a cool company! Their Christmas gift range is insane and I hope to get some this year.
As you can see I ordered quite a few as we are keen coffee drinkers and it’s just so lovely to have the option and put a flavour to your mood and the season!
Monin syrups
If you’re just a fan of regular coffee but want to add a little extra flavour every so often, then maybe get yourself some coffee syrups! I go with Monin syrups as they make amazing syrups and often coffee shops will use them too. I always make sure to keep topped up on Pumpkin spiced latte all year round to keep that little bit of Autumn in my every day life but when Autumn arrives I like to really stock up whilst I can.
I have recently got lots of syrups to give us and the kids a variety of options to use them for coffee, hot chocolate and even milkshakes. It’s lovely to be able to bring the coffee shop home, especially during lockdown restrictions. If you can’t get to a coffee shop, bring the coffee shop to you!
Alcoholic beverages
Gin – I enjoy the odd cheeky tipple every few weeks and will often reach for some gin. I absolutely love trying different flavours and my partner and I actually collect cool bottles to keep for decoration so It makes it even more fun! My favourite flavours of gin to drink during Autumn are Blood Orange, Rhubard & Ginger and Blackberry.
Rum – Just as I stand with Gin I also love trying and having the occasional glass of rum with a mixer. We collect awesome bottles of rum for decor and so try and find different ones. The rums I enjoy drinking around Autumn are Old J, Karen, dead mans finger and red leg!
Whisky – As with Gin and Rum, we also love to try whiskey. We even did a Whisky tasting experience which was so much fun! So the whisky I enjoy through Autumn are Johnnie walker black label, Jack Daniel’s and Jim Beam Bourbon.
Prosecco – My main cheeky tipple will be a glass or two of prosecco. It is my preferred drink if I go out and is just something I enjoy drinking on occasions!
Mulled wine – Although most would associate this with Christmas, as do I, I also love to enjoy the odd glass during the end of October during Autumn. It is so beautifully spiced and really gets me in the Autumn and Christmas mood! I always go for the Asda mulled wine and like to even add my own cinnamon sticks and oranges to it!
Non alcoholic drinks
Since I don’t really drink alcohol all too often I will usually be stocked up on some of my favourite every day drinks! Below are some drinks I enjoy drinking during Autumn.
Cream soda – I really enjoy cream soda as an alternative to my usuals during Autumn like Diet Coke strawberry or Dr Pepper. It is just a little change I suppose. I usually go for Asdas own as it’s just as good for a fraction of the price!
Ribena winter spice to drink warm – So I am mainly a squash drinker (Don’t judge) so I loved finding the Ribena Winter spice in Asda during my latest visit there. It is almost like an alternative to Mulled wine for those who don’t drink alcohol and I cannot wait to enjoy some from a lovely mug!
Tea
Adagio teas – Last year I received a gifted Adagio Teas package they Kindly sent to me to review. I absolutely loved trying each herbal tea with the cup and tea infuser they gave me. I still have lots of them left and still really enjoy having them. There are gorgeous flavours and really get me in the festive spirit for Autumn and Winter!
Thank you for reading! What beverages are you loving during Autumn?
Stay wonderful!
