Shopping Pre- Lockdown!
The first part of the video is our pre lockdown shopping at Tesco. It was insane seeing the lack of things on shelves and seeing people panicking. It most Certainly was a unique experience!
We got our usual months worth of shopping and I’m so glad we did as on the Monday after the weekend shop I got really poorly with a cough and temperature and had to self isolate with my household for 2 weeks meaning non of us could leave the house. Other than toilet roll and cleaning products we were ok with the shopping we’d managed to get our hands on. It’s still so scary though and we knew we would run out of things quickly even when trying to ration!
Morning Coffee
The second part of this video was a little hyperlapse of me making coffee one morning as it’s usually how we start our day. We try and start the day on a positive note by having a warm drink in bed whilst waking up and getting ready for the day ahead.
Working from home.
The next part is a little bit of work from home from my bedroom. I sat writing a blog post to show you some parts of my day to day working habits. It varies depending on how I feel and what I’m working on where I decide to work in the house. Sometimes I’m in my dress room, kitchen, lounge or bedroom. I just go day by day where it feels best.
Little bit of home renovation
Since we are in the midst of home changes, I thought I’d pop in a little part of my own furniture makeover in this video. It shows a quick hyper lapsed clip of me painting my white dressing table mirror and drawers black.
Making rainbows and celebrating the NHS!
The last parts of the video are all to do with thanking the NHS and showing gratitude! My partner and I made a huge rainbow to put in the front window and I also did a little one too with some of my unique mandala and geometric pen art. We then went out the front door at 8pm on March 26th and clapped, cheered and watched someone down the lane set off fireworks. It was truly beautiful to see, hear and feel the love and appreciation shown!
