So, if you have been over onto my Youtube channel, you may have seen my Video unboxing’s and reviews. This is a blog post all about May’s BTM box! Youtube video will be linked below after this post too.
This months theme is ‘Choose Love’ and is in collaboration with the incredible charitable organisation ‘Choose Love’ – Last months theme was ‘Dare to be powerful’ which you can read here. So, if you need some positivity and inspiration during this tough time, here is a post all about the lovely gifts within this box.
Products included in this box
Within each box there are accessories and goodies that go alongside the book(s) and all match the theme of the chosen books. So within this one we have a lovely lot of goodies to enjoy, embrace love and feel connected to. These include:
A Bookmark and pictures/ postcards – These products are truly something else. They fit the theme perfectly and really go above and beyond to embrace all things love and kindness. The bookmark is simple yet powerful with double sides for extra empowering and warming quotes. On one side it reads “Where you are born is down to chance. What you are born with is down to luck. Acting with love is down to you”. On the other side it reads “If you have more than you need, build a longer table, not a higher wall”. Both lovely quotes and ones you can keep seeing when you use this bookmark in your current read! These bookmarks were actually made by campaigning from Billboards and making them into Bookmarks for this months BTM box.
The postcards really are insanely artistic and powerful, with their flamboyant and quirky colour and style they really do make a statement. They reminded me so much of Megan Ellaby’s brand Saturday! These postcards can be sent to a special someone or even used as pictures you can frame. I know for sure I’m going to put them in my reading nook! There are three altogether and two them read a beautiful verse “Sunset sky rainbow, gold morning sunshine, beautifully free land of dreams, happy highways, my sweet love play sleep run, dance sing feel live, life’s good with you by my side”. It’s a beautiful quote to brighten your days.

Keyring, tote and cookie! – Boy oh boy have they treated us this month! We have not only a beautiful keyring and a tote bag but also a vegan cookie. They really do go above and beyond to make these boxes magical and It is so lovely.
The keyring is truly beautiful. It is so perfect for these tough times and atrocities happening in the world at the moment in countries like Israel. This keyring is a plastic diamond shapes one with the quote “Love has no borders” on it. It was created by Flamingo candles and provides us with a beautiful reminder each time we open our doors, unlock our cars or just pick up our keys.
The tote bag is glorious. It’s got the printed ‘Choose love’ on it and is also sustainably made. What more could you ask for? Choosing love in so many ways including helping the environment and being ‘Earth friendly’! I cannot wait to sport this bag and spread the love.
Cookie! Music to my ears, oh my! They really have gone above and beyond by working with Abigail from M&H cakes who has created this delicious and beautiful looking cookie with a pink icing and the words ‘Choose love’ printed on. I thoroughly enjoyed it and even shared the love by giving half to my mum who also loved it.

Books!
So… Drum roll please. The main part of this box, books of course!
This month brought us one book, but one very powerful one indeed. The book of the month is ‘Voices of the lost’ by Hoda Barakat. This is an award winning novel by an award winning author. Hoda Barakat won the international prize for Arabic fiction with this novel. It focuses on a country torn apart by war and focuses on six strangers who are compelled to share their darkest secrets about poverty, demons within themselves, battling displacement and living on the periphery. I’d imagine this will be a heartwarming and heart wrenching read. One with huge impact!

Thank you for reading! You can also see my Youtube video unboxing too over on my channel. I’d love to know what you think and if you have had a books that matter subscription before.
Stay wonderful!
