Let's go out out!
What a glorious time of year! Perfect for getting those beautiful frocks out and grabbing a glass of bubbly.
I love my cosy jumpers, traditional coloured tees and beautiful dresses. This shirt is one I got last year from the Asda George Christmas collection. It’s thin, pretty, comfortable and is so cute! Perfect for any occasion whether that be work, night out, meal or day out!
This is a gorgeous luxurious body suit I love wearing during colder seasons. It is a sparkly stretchy suit that has a beautiful large opening in the back revealing your skin. It goes beautifully with any kind of skirt or trousers and is perfect for a night out partying hehe. It is an outfit to keep you warm whilst still feeling 100%.
Even though we are in the colder seasons, we can still wear some beautiful items for our nights out, Whether that be to the pub, a party or meal.
This outfit is a favourite of mine. It’s fancy, elegant, warm and sexy with class. It is great for keeping warm but feeling good. This long sleeve body suit is beautiful. It is comfortable for long wears and super pretty. It is perfect for matching with a skater skirt, pencil skirt or even some lovely trousers and accessories. Both skirt and body suit are from New Look. The belt is from Primark.
This ‘Monki’ dress is one of my favourite outfits! It is a beautiful stretchy material making it comfortable, fitted and elegant. It is a full length dress with long sleeves. It is elegant, classy and perfect for nights out during these cold seasons. It keeps you warm and makes you feel on top of the world. It can be styled with a beautiful coloured belt to break up the black and a chunky necklace. It is smart, fun and can be worn during many different occasions.
Jumpers & cosy knits
This outfit (deep orange) is cosy, comfy, super autumnal and perfect for those cosy days in or trips to a warm coffee shop. It is a burnt orange long sleeve jumpsuit. It’s not too thick and not too thin and can be styled with so many wonderful clothing and accessories!
This block coloured jumper is an oversized perfect piece in my Autumn and Winter collection. It passes the ‘Knee’ test hehe. This test is to see if I can cosy up on the sofa and put my jumper over my knees like a blanket. I love a good jumper I can get my knees in and feel ultimate chill. This jumper is great for days out during the cold weather and can be styled with many different accessories and clothing. It is from New Look and was super affordable!
Cosy and calm
This cardigan is a big oversized mustard knit piece. It’s one of my favourite things to style with anything and I’ve had it for years after picking it up in the ‘New Look’ sale. It is super lovely to wear, warm, cosy and perfect for this time of year.
Grab your coat!
Here are where my Christmas and winter coats are! I love this time of year when we can enjoy the heat in doors and breathe in the cool fresh air whilst out. There is nothing like coming home from being in the cold and just sinking into the sofa with your coat on still hehe.
I think coats can make an outfit perfect! It can add elegance, professionalism, expression, creativity and so much more to an outfit. You can rock a coat for multiple occasions and weathers and they are the ones I love; the ones you can use throughout the year.
I bought these two coats from Primark. One in 2018 and one this year 2019. My tartan grey coat was in the Primark sales and I couldn’t bear to leave it once i’d set my eyes upon it. It is smart and comfortable and looks lovely with multiple outfits around this time of year. In my opinion it gives off quite a christmasy feel!
The fluffy teddy bear coat is from this year. Full price from Primark at £30. It was an early Christmas gift and I’m just in love with it! It’s cosy, warm, easy to move in, the perfect size and feels so silky and fluffy! It has deep pockets and full zip top to bottom. I will see how long it lasts, since I’ll be taking full advantage!
Lingerie and night clothes
Empowerment for me is so important. It is allowing myself to feel worthy of love, happiness, good clothing and food I love and enjoy.
I struggled with borderline anorexia around 2016 and it has been a long hard battle. I will always have that voice telling me I’m fat or flabby but I’m learning to love who I am, what I do, what I wear and the business woman I am becoming. To inspire others I want to learn along the way about self love, acceptance and what really matters.
Something that has helped me overcome my body image struggles is actually making the leap to do freelance body confidence modelling including regular everyday fashion and lingerie!
So this red long flared sleeve lingerie piece is a gorgeous one to put on and begin to feel beautiful and empowered. It’s bright red and fits the Christmas theme perfectly. Whether you wear lingerie and take pictures or whether you just wear it in the home, please remember that you deserve to feel gorgeous, badass and sexy!
Accessories
This fluffy head band is one of my favourites to use over the colder seasons. It is warm, cosy, fashionable and makes me feel super christmasy! It is deep blue and can go with lots of different outfits during a cold night out.
The scarf I am wearing is from Asda and is one of my favourite accessories during the cold weather. It is autumnal, warm and christmasy, perfect for accompanying any outfit!
This fluffy head band is one I don’t use often but I do love it. It is a beautiful deep red colour and is perfect for keeping me warm during these cold seasons. It’s great for a night out especially if you will be outside for long lengths of time.
This scarf is to die for. It was a gift to me from a good friend for my birthday this year.
It is very hippie styled and is a wrap scarf made of soft pastel coloured stringy material with some plaited strings and metal beads threaded through.
Although it isn’t big and fluffy it is a nice warm accessory to an outfit. It is most certainly fashionable and I would reach for this for a night out to match an outfit rather than to keep warm.
This scarf has been in my life for many years and I got it from an old garden centre I used to work for. It is super christmasy with it’s black and white pattern of stags. It is a lovely scarf fit to wear on multiple occasions whether that be formal, work or nights out. It’s naturally quite thin material however when bunched together and put around your neck, it gets thicker and keeps you warm.
What better accessory for Christmas than a tartan scarf? It is long, thick material and is my go-to scarf. It is beautifully patterned and really makes me feel christmasy in any outfit I style this with. I get lots of compliments when wearing this scarf so it’s clearly super glamorous to hehe.
