One thing I love is Makeup! It allows so much creative freedom, expressionism and can be used in so many different ways. In this post I’ll be sharing with you some of my fave makeup collections and some fun Christmas themed looks! Whether you’re an icy icon, romantic red or other, I’m sure there is something in my collections for you all.
I love trying different brands, colours and types of makeup so I love sharing all of my looks and ‘makeup for dummies’ work!
Christmas for me is time for even more rich red tones. I love to pop my snow white inspo out and find the perfect berry reds!
As Cold as ice
I may love Autumn and all its glory including the warm and golden colours but sometimes I try to go outside the box and my comfort zone. Due to having grey/green/blue eyes I usually stick to warm colours to compliment my skin, eyes and avoid clashing but let’s face it clashes can work wonders sometimes so why not?
Here I have used Makeup revolution products to create this look. You can always find a gorgeous blue in any palettes but I love Makeup Revolution so much that I always reach for their products. This lip colour is super daring but I fell in love with it the moment I saw it on the shelves in the ‘I heart revolution’ section of Superdrug. It is the ‘metallic mermaid lips’ in ‘siren’. It is so gorgeous and the perfect shade for this Icy look! Cool and calm and loving these blue shades and sparkle.
Christmas fun makeup!
Why not have fun during the Christmas season? If we can’t have fun now when can we! Makeup is a wonderful thing. It can truly give us so much joy on any occasion. Fun, night out, work, home, family meal and all else. It is a way to express ourselves and use all types of makeup to transform our bodies.
Here’s my little reindeer makeup I did in a few mins just to enjoy the simplicity of makeup this season. It’s not Christmas without our fave reindeer so I’m channelling my inner rudolph!
What animals or fun little Christmas face paint makeup do you do? When I have more time I’ll be adding some more looks, hopefully some more detailed ones.
Spikey and saucy
Chriustmas traditional coloura for me are reds and greens so I thought I’d take this chance to create a luxury look with a hint of fun on the cheek hehe.
I used my new Makeup Revolution ‘The Emily Edit The wants’ palette to creat this eye look. I am obsessed with this palette after getting it for FREE in the promotional mystery gift bag with a worth of £35.
This year I haven’t had chance to do many makeup looks due to my family trauma and rushing around but I aim to do many more looks during #Blogmaswithboa and add them onto this post along the way!
Here are some of my favourites!
What are your Christmas and winter favourites? Stay wonderful! Louna xxx
