Earlyish nights and feeling mentally awake call for a bit of reading πŸ“š I'm loving having @AmazonKindle on my phone. My current go to read on my phone is 'Under one roof' by Ali Hazelwood 😍

The LUSH Valentines Edit | Bath, body and beauty *AD

*AD – PR Samples gifted to me included within this post

This year marks a year since I started doing collaboration work with the wonderful company LUSH. So for Valentines this year I wanted to do something special. I made a small ‘Virtual Valentines slumber party’ for my friends and I to celebrate Galentines in style and lift the spirits throughout this tough time in lockdown. We all have other halfs but still find happiness in celebrating our other relationships; The ones with our friends, family but most importantly, ourselves. You can see the full post to my Valentines slumber party but here I wanted to discuss this years LUSH Valentines products.Β

Lot's of love gift

So, I thought I’d purchase this divine gift box ‘Lot’s of love’ and review the products inside! I was also *gifted some products too which I shared out to my lovely friends as part of our little gift packages for the Virtual Valentines Slumber Partay!Β

We each had our gifted ‘Love Me Do’ bath bomb and the ‘Heart beat’ bath bomb which are two beautiful products to fill our hearts (and baths) with pure love whilst embracing our senses of smell and feel. Both bath bombs are showstoppers, but then again aren’t all LUSH products? My friends loved hearing about the ranges LUSH have to offer and we all sat and looked at our bath bombs whilst talking about them. I even snook in some other products from the gift box and last years range and heard some ‘Ooo sounds so nice’ and ‘I may have to buy these’ from my friends. I mean who could resist?

'Prince Charming' shower gel

This shower gel is a mixture of refreshing, indulgent and warming textures and scents. It’s one of my favourite of the Valentine’s range and I will continue to purchase it time and time again. I went into detail in last years review over on my Gifted package from Valentines 2020 post! Funnily enough, I believe they have changed it from a bright red to a deep pink this year which is awesome. If you want to ‘sweep yourself off your feet’ then this is the shower gel you need. The product of dreams.

'Sex bomb' Bath bomb

What can I say? This is a LUSH classic. It’s not Valentines without a little bit of ‘Sex bomb, sex bomb. You’re my sex bomb’ is it? I had the pleasure of making a ‘sex bomb’ at a LUSH event I was Kindly invited too and it was so much fun. This bath bomb is simply brilliant. It smells, looks and feels exciting. And who needs a man when this bath bomb gently hands you a little rose during your glorious soak? It’s a gorgeously fizzy, bright, bubbly and deliciously luxurious bomb filling your life with the spark and scents of the love gods.

'Rose argan' massage bar

This massage bar is just a wonderful addition to the ‘Lot’s of Love’ gift box. It’s gentle, smells beautiful and melts in your hand and when glided over skin, gently warming and soothing. This massage bar is the perfect one for a sensual massage for you or your other half. It’s smells of Rose and offers hydration to the tiredest of skin; Perfect for a combination of a glass of bubbly or your favoured beverage during an evening with your favourite person feeling the love radiate. The perfect Valentines treat creating tonnes of ‘arga-sms’.. No? (Winks)

'Rose Jam' Bubbleroon

This is the first ‘Bubbleroon’ I have tried and I absolutely love the idea! It’s essentially bath bomb and bath bar meets macaroon and what a sweet (literally) idea. After all, don’t all LUSH products look and smell good enough to eat? Yet again another Rose Jam product. Funny story; I actually didn’t favour the Rose Jam scent but my goodness have I come to love it after trying all of these products! A little different to most bath bombs or bars, you can either split it in half and use for two separate baths or crumble it all in one bath.Β

'Tisty Tosty' bath bomb

This little bath bomb is cute, elegant and just a delight. It’s from the bath heavens and I’m blessed to use it. I adore the rose petals within it; It really does make you feel special when soaking in a bath full of the scents, bubbles and roses coming from this glorious bath bomb. It’s so delicately rose scented alongside lemon and orris root powder and really does make your little self care bath time lovely. Alongside ‘Sex bomb’, ‘Tisty Tosty’ is another classic and yet they couldn’t be more different! Β

'A French kiss' bubble bar

This bubble bar is beyond words. It may be one of my favourites (I know I’m biased and say this about them all). It’s a gorgeous vibrant purple and mixes delicate with enticing scents and textures. I like to hold mine under running warm/ hot water but you can also crumble under water and glide through the water in your hands; Either way you get tonnes of bubbles, purple water and divine aromas that fill your bathroom and soul! One thing I really wanted but sadly didn’t get was the lavender sprig within it but, honestly, I’ll forgive them hehe.

'Heart Beat' Bath bomb

This bath bomb is beautiful. It smells sweet and lovely and fills your bath with the most gorgeous aromas of Rose Jam. The pink and gold colours emitted from this bomb glide across the surface of your bath and through the water creating bubbles and soft bubbly water for you to slowly simmer in embracing self love and self care. An element of fun to this bath bomb (Would it be a LUSH product without the fun?) is that the golden hearts come away from the pink bath bomb, floating around slowly dissolving into golden streaks. You will also hear a crackle from this bomb taking you back to your childhood memories of popping candy almost! I adore this product and so do my friends. Oh and you can add that extra bit of wonder knowing that the Rose absolute is sourced from their regenerative rose project in Pakistan.

'Love Me Do' wrapped bath bomb

This Love Me Do Muslin wrapped bath bomb is beautiful. Yet again an added bonus is you get to soak whilst feeling wonderful about the sourced rose absolute from LUSH’s regenerative rose project in Pakistan! Oh and how could I forget, the tag, muslin cloth and raffia can all be composted which is just an added wonder to the already incredible product. So when you’re soaking in the pink essence of pure rose goodness you can feel the weightless of feeling of doing good for yourself and the planet. The scents, feel and look of this bomb are divine. It’s floral, sweet and feels like adding a big tea bag to a big pot of warm water after a hard day. A gorgeous creation for a gorgeous self care routine.

I hope you have enjoyed reading. Thank you so much! This was so much fun to write and photograph and I really do hope to inspire well deserved self care with incredible products from a kind hearted, lovely company.

Stay wonderful!

Here is my unboxing of my first Pause subscription box in April!

April was all about reading and finding calm through reading. In order to embrace pausing though reading, this month included a task where we make Pompom book marks.

With green yarn it was lovely to follow the guide and find calm whilst making a little pompom bookmark.
