One thing that will always make me feel happy and at ease is my skincare routine. When I really give myself time to do my skincare of a morning or evening, it instantly boosts me and helps me either feel ready for the day or ready for my calm and relaxing evening.
Here I’ll be talking about my current skincare routine with The Superdrug Vitamin E skincare range. It’s vegan friendly and cruelty free and really is kind to the skin. I have loved using this collection and hope I can sell it well to you! If you’ve tried it I’d love to hear what you think.
Exfoliators
Let’s start with the exfoliator and scrub!
For a while I only had the ‘Gentle oatmeal exfoliator’ – It is so natural and uses oatmeal and walnut to create the gritted texture used to exfoliate the skin. It is gentle yet works with scrubbing the skin really well and smells beautiful! Although the walnut and oatmeal can get a little messy, it is so worth it. After use it leaves skin feeling soft, fresh and ready for the rest of the routine.
If you aren’t a fan of the bits within the ‘Oatmeal exfoliator’ and preferred something a little more refined, this range has an ‘Exfoliating facial cleansing bar’ and it is divine! It quite literally leaves skin feeling squeaky clean. It is so simple to use; Simply wet your face and hand and gently rub the bar onto your wet hand. You will see it start to lather slightly, once the bar has begun to glide across your hand with ease, begin gently scrubbing your face with the bar or continue on your hand later to transfer from your hand to your face. I like to use the bar directly on my skin in gentle circular motions. Once I feel I have enough on my skin I will then use my hands to rub it in even more and then wash off with a hot cloth.
Eye Makeup Remover
This ‘Gentle eye make-up remover’ is lovely. It’s simple to use and is really lovely as part of your evening skincare routine after a long day. It’s soothing, cool and really does the trick with removing eye makeup. Simply apply some of the remover to a cotton pad and lightly glide across your eye lid with your eye closed. You will see and feel the makeup being swept away neatly and easily! Rub gently with the back of the cotton pad to remove any excess of the substance and continue with your routine.
Micellar water and cleansing oil
Once you have successfully used your eye makeup remover I would usually reach for my ‘Gentle micellar solution’ which I will use to remove my makeup on my face as well as any excess from my eyes left over. This water is lovely and soft on the skin and gives off a lovely natural scent.
I will then use my ‘Dual phase cleansing oil’. I use the back of the cotton pad and once shaken the oil I will apply it to the pad. I glide it across my face and neck in circular motions and allow it to work it’s magic. It cleans any excess makeup or dirt and makes my skin feel super soft and fresh.
Once I have finished with my makeup removal and cleansing oil I will spritz my face with the ‘Hydrating mist’. This makes me feel fresh and hydrated! I let it dry and begin my moisturising or face mask.
Moisturiser or face mask
After I have cleaned my face I will either use a moisturiser or a face mask depending on the day and how my skin feels.
When I choose to moisturise I will reach for my ‘SPF 15 moisturising day cream’ which is a thick cream which leaves skin feeling hydrated, soft and well looked after. It’s lightly scented and just makes you feel so lovely and fresh.
Should I choose to use a face mask I will always reach for my ‘Leave on Moisture mask’ which I apply with my finger tips in circular motions across my face and neck and leave it to sink in. I will then sit back relax and get ready for bed. This mask is hydrating, soothing and makes skin feel soft and happy. The best thing is, no faff! You can leave it on as you sleep and wake up with soft and happy skin.
I am yet to get my hands on the ‘Nourishing Night cream’ but I would love to pick it up and include it in this review as I’m a huge fan of a night cream within my skincare routine.

Thanks for the comment! I love Superdrug skincare as it’s great quality and soooo afforable. I love their naturally radiant skincare range too the most. I unfortunately had a little reaction to the Vitamin range after a few months as my skin must’ve been angry at something. But please do try it and I’d love to know how you get on!
Stay wonderful,
