This months Blogosphere Challenge has been to plan your own influencer event! I’ve been so busy during this month with birthdays, a heavy family commitment and working on my own little presentation for The Diana award mentoring programme so have had little time to write up my ideas, but damn would I love to plan an event! I’ve always been into events planning like music festivals, shows and even weddings. I also have a knack for hosting!
Welcome to my inclusive influencer & creator event!
This influencer event is Inclusive, diverse, unique and really something for everyone! The creative industry embraced from each section and corner! Do you love music, photography, supporting small and anything you’re able to find creative release doing? If so, this event is the one for you. Whether you want to learn or just come to witness others showcasing their talents, you will find it all here. You’ll find this event to be an influencer event meets comic con. Fun, quirky, insightful, educational and wonderful.
This event is over a two day period. Our first day being virtual and the second IRL!

Here you will find our information and schedule for the event! Both days are the same schedule with slightly different influencers and experts doing each workshop, panel, stall and talk!
A warm welcome
Hello from the hosts sharing our days schedule and equipping you with the tools you need for the day so you can have the most fun possible throughout whist staying safe, comfortable and content. Influencer events are all about togetherness, community and feeling celebrated no matter who you are, what skill level you are at or what you look like!

We will give you different creators, influencers and people from all corners of the creative industry. See below for some of the guests we will be showcasing throughout the two days of pure wonder! Some will simply be around on stalls or running workshops. Stalls will showcase products, the businesses and influencers. Feel free to pop by each stall for a general chat to get to know the biz or creator. Learn, make connections, find your new fave businesses, support small and have fun!
Performing arts – these individuals/ bands will be performing throughout the event with a live lounge type feel. During virtual event they will have their own room with links to videos, live links and their own avatar for you to talk to and get to know!

Food stalls
Food stalls for the physical event will be up and running throughout the day whilst the virtual event will showcase the food company, location, mission and everything about them! You will find their own room in the virtual event with links to blogs, websites, social media and mouth watering food pics!
Ethical beauty
There will be stalls showcasing cruelty free, ethical beauty throughout the events. You can try and buy these products during the physical event and will be able to talk to the business online in their virtual room during the virtual event! We will also have the lovely Katie Eve showing you how to do gorgeous makeup looks alongside Samantha Cusick talking about all things hair!
Schedule!
Speed networking
Taken straight from Blogospheres wonderful idea of speed dating for networking, we will have a start time from the beginning of the event where attendees can get to know each other and the stalls and guests in a quick but fun little activity! It gives everyone a fair chance to get to know each other whilst practising their elevator pitches!
Workshops running and free time for those wanting to roam the events stalls and guests
Workshops will be running throughout the day. You will be able to book your slots in the workshops prior to the event. Whilst workshops are running, our stalls throughout the rooms will be up and running for you to have a great time, trying, buying and getting to know the small businesses on offer. Plus you need some free time to get in those selfies, which we will talk about later on!
Hands on photography workshop with KayeFordtography/ Explore With Ed 60 mins
Our first workshop will be with KayeFordtography on skills for creating the perfect self portrait! As said in the title, this will be a hands on experience for you to be shown by Kaye the skills you need for this area of photography for you to then try out and create your own little self portrait for you to take home. You can then take on those skills and put them to work when you get home.
Explore with Ed will also be showcasing location and landscape photography skills and making the most of your DSLR! You will be able to access the workshops you have missed (If any) after the event as live recordings will be available to attendees!
Panel - The Joyful coach, Charlotte Jonsie & Vix Meldrew (Grow & Glow)
This panel will be all about unleashing your talent and getting the most out of your wonderful self. You will be challenging your inner critic, learning how to overcome hurdles and find the confidence you hold within yourself to progress and develop at speeds you never thought possible! This panel will be an inspiring one, so make sure you attend. The panel will hold a Q&A!
Hands on photography workshop with Linda Blacker/ Alex Cameron photography 30 mins
This workshop will be run by the wonderful Linda Blacker! She is renowned for her editing and creation of whimsical images of beautiful influencers. Her workshop will be focusing on editing and getting the most out of your editing abilities no matter what skill level or experience. You will be shown and then given the chance to try them out on your own images!
Alexandra Cameron will be showcasing Lightroom skills and general photography skills for you to take on board and try for yourself! You will be able to access the workshop you have missed (If any) after the event as live recordings will be available to attendees!
Food tasting & reviewing
Throughout the event you will be able to try samples of delicious food from small companies and offer a review over on your blog or socials to help the business grow! It’s a great way to enjoy mouth watering snacks and goodies whilst helping a fellow creator out. You will be able to try samples and then buy yourself your desired lunch and even some takeaways for later because the food will be so good, we dare you not to have extra!
For the virtual event you will see mouth watering pictures, videos and still be able to speak to the business over chat or using your microphone to speak to them, They will have their own room with links to their sites and products maybe even with a little cheeky discount. There will also be influencer opportunities to review food!
Panel - Mental health, self care & wellbeing
This panel will be focusing on topics some of us find hard; Mental health, honesty of the reality of being an influencer and content creator and practising self care. It will be featuring mental health bloggers Wonderful You, Bursts Of Autumn, Katies Sancturary, CaseStreetx and Estelle Alais. They will be discussing their experience with mental health, how they deal with bad days and then answering your questions in the hope of helping others feel heard, understood and inspired.
For the virtual event you will see the panel of avatars and hear the people talking as if you were right there in person!
MUA Katie Eve beauty workshop
This 30 minute workshop will be held by Katie Eve makeup artistry. She will be showcasing her skills, choosing models from the audience and even letting a few you all try out your makeup skills throughout on your very own foam heads! I know so many learn easier whilst being shown so why not get stuck right in!
For the virtual event you will see Katie on video working her magic and if you have the tools, you can follow along in the comfort of your own home with your own makeup!
Webinar - SEO with Elaine
This webinar will be run by Elaine from XOmisse covering all things SEO related to get the most out of your blog! SEO is a huge part of content creation so you won’t want to miss this. Grab a notebook and pen because I can guarantee you will want to keep this information for later when you next hop onto your site to get creating. For the virtual event, get comfy, cosy, your favourite beverage and notebook for taking down some notes.
Unleashing the power of silenced influencers -
We want to make sure the voices of all backgrounds are heard, which is why we will be showcasing Black, curvy, POC and generally overlooked influencers and creators. We will have talks from some incredible influencers including Stephanie Yeboah, Chloe in Curve, SelfLoveLiv, David Fadd, Curvy Nyome and many more. On the panel will be Alice Audley and the blogosphere crew talking about the Black directory Blogosphere created to showcase the incredible overlooked influencers who need their voices to be heard!
For the virtual event you will hearing all of the above during the panel and will see their avatars.
Samantha Cusick Hair showcase and workshop!
Just like the workshop with Katie Eve MUA, you will dive straight in the deep end with a live hair styling showcase by the wonderful Sam Cusick. She will show you some of her skills such as extension styling, hair self care, choosing the right colours and dying it safely and last but not least some of her favourite hair styles! You will have chance to test and try as she shows you with some wigs out for audience participation or even someone you’ve brought along!
For the virtual event you will be able to watch a video from Sam in the comfort of your own home!
Selfie Spots!
Throughout the events there will be both physical and virtual selfie spots for you and your avatar to get the best pictures from this event! After all, us content creators need our selfies and images for our blog and social media posts! Maybe even pop over to our makeup and hair showcases to get selfie ready.
Our Selfie spots will be decorated based on some of our favourite topics of the day such as BLM, Embracing silenced Influencers, Mental health and wellbeing, ethical beauty and foooood! So there really will be something for everyone!
Virtual goody bags!
Did someone say goody bags? Erm, I think they did! That’s right, for both virtual and physical each attendee with receive a goody bag. For the physical event you will have food samples to try, samples of some beauty products, workbooks for SEO and coaching and some general bits to keep as a memory from the event.
For the virtual event you will receive some discount codes for food, beauty and online courses with some free Lightroom presets to get you on your way to finding the perfect preset for you! Keep your eyes peeled as you may also get a few more wonderful freebies!
So from a very hectic mind, onto the internet, here is my idea of a great and super busy influencer event. I apologise if it is super full and a little hectic on paper. I have had fun imagining all of this but damn it would be an interesting yet hard one to put into action. Let me know what you think if you get through it all!
