Over the course of a week, particularly this week I have realised how important it is to plan and schedule content. The amount of issues in my family have come along so inconveniently and it’s pushed my challenge content back. Having a backlog of content that needs work or needs uploading can cause so much panic and stress and therefore sorting it in advance is so convenient!
Being in such a competitive and huge industry can be super challenging, intimidating and can fill you with self doubt. The best thing we can do for ourselves is have faith in our work, abilities and goals. Comparing ourselves to other bloggers can be so dangerous so we must remember to be gentle with ourselves and find what works for us. After all, our passions are what make life wonderful!
Being a blogger may look all glamorous and simple from the outside but I think we can all agree that is it so much harder than most think!
It is mentally, emotionally and physically exhausting to constantly create content and keep on top of workload and media channels as well as every day life. Make sure you take time out. You can’t create wonderful content if you aren’t ok and well! Your health matters!
Other people will put you down and kick at your weaknesses, but you must remember that its’s about what you want and love and no one else should make that change. Prove them wrong and do what you do best!
Stay awesome!
When creating content, don’t just do what everyone else is doing. If you aren’t passionate about the topics you are working on, how can you expect for the best outcome? You need topics you are excited about and feel passionate towards, then you will create the best you can!
Self doubt can creep in all too often especially in this challenging creative industry! Most of us will try out blogging, love it, but not see results all too soon. Many people give up so early due to not feeling that they can become successful. The truth is, good things take time. Keep going!
It is important to realise that you must embrace who you are and what you stand for and then use that to create your blog and content. Be you, be different and believe in yourself. You can do this!
