So for day 14 the prompt is Autumn & Halloween films and TV shows. I’m sure we have all been spending a lot more time watching TV since lockdown, or maybe you’re more dug into books! Anyway I am a huge horror and Halloween film fan so I take any chance I can get to get stuck into a cool film. I almost see films as essentials during this season, moreso during lockdown. I especially love horror movie or TV show marathons during cold drizzly Sundays. It’s heavenly! What do you do on a rainy day? If movies are on the list then here are some ideas for your ‘To watch’ list during Autumn and Halloween!
So here is my watch list this Autumn! It’s filled with spooky shows, psychological horrors and a bit of gore. I personally love a psychological horror, especially the ones that make you speechless afterwards. I am also quite critical of horror endings so I am always on the hunt for more films to watch and see how they make me feel. An atmospheric well made film is great for those cosy days or nights in where you want to escape reality for a while and get lost in a story of pure mystery!
Since we now have three little beasties living with us and they are all under the age of 9 we have been very limited in what we can watch and when. This time 4 months ago we would be spending our Sundays cosied up with snacks and watching a days worth of horror films, (the perfect date night. Am I right?) but now we have to think about the kiddies. They have bed time at 7.15pm which is too late for films by then due to work the next day and also… I’d rather not watch a really scary film too late hehe. We have to be mindful about what we are screening in case a little one sees something spooky and it scars them for life so we have kept it safe so far but that’s not to say we can’t enjoy a good Halloween film! We love the child friendly ones just as much so there isn’t a problem. Below is my list of Child friendly Autumn and Halloween films and shows. They are fun, spooky and really set the mood for the wonderful season. For those parents and guardians of little ones out there who rarely get time to poop, here is a fun child friendly spooky list!
Thank you so much for reading! I’d love to know what’s on your Autumn and Halloween ‘To watch’ list.
Stay wonderful!
